Not all dogs do well in outdoor urban dog parks. In a big city like Chicago many people lack backyards where their dog an exercise and explore their surroundings leash free.
Bosly’s Backyard is a one-of-a-kind, indoor private play space where you can spend time with your dog —one on one. And unlike dog parks and day care, your dog can play off leash without interference from other dogs or the outside world.
You can book 30–60-minute individual play sessions. You can also sign up for training as well as photoshoots and other dog friendly events.
Cat Cafe
Catcade Café and Rescue

The Catcade is a non-profit, arcade-themed cat rescue, lounge, and a cat café. The lounge simulates a home environment. Cats are not kept in cages, instead they get to live in a lounge type atmosphere.
You can bring your laptop (free-Wi-Fi), attend a cat yoga class. or play video games while you hang out with the adorable kitties. All the cats are adoptable except for the long-term resident, Leo. You might even meet your new furry family member here. The entry fee goes to directly help offset the cost of medical treatment for the cats and operating expenses for the shelter.

Created to re-invent the Diner, Glenn's Diner is a pet-friendly eatery serving fresh seafood, along with typical diner entrees. You can enjoy a bowl of cereal alongside your furry friend who can sit at one of Glenn's eight outdoor tables on the shaded patio. Its menu includes items such as New England Clam Chowder, The Last Seafood Salad You Will Ever Want, sandwiches, burgers, po-boys and more. Frequent visitors to Glenn's Diner recommend the potato pancakes and the garlic bread.

Parson's Chicken and Fish is a casual fast-food-style eatery Your dog is welcome to join you at one of their pet-friendly outdoor tables on the large patio while you enjoy your meal. There are posts for leash tie ups and dog water bowls are provided.
Try an order of the Cheese Curd Fritters with potatoes, cream, confit garlic, aged cheddar, and jalapeno, served with buttermilk dressing. Next, chow down on the Fish Sandwich with beer-battered fish, slaw, American cheese, hot sauce, aioli, and North Star pickles, served with house-made potato chips.
